Following the hugely successful first edition under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.  Tourism Development & Investment Company 鈥淭DIC鈥 and Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage 鈥淎DACH鈥 make a new date with collectors, artists, dealers, critics, curators and all those with a passion for art and design, from November 4th to 7th for Abu Dhabi Art 2010.

Four days to visit some of the most influential galleries on the international art market but also discover the Middle East麓s contemporary art scene, and refresh our view of this region, where East and West meet, on the crossroads of the legendary Silk Road.

Four days to rediscover the work of modern art麓s greatest representatives and discover the new names on the emerging scene. The opening reception will be held on Wednesday 3 November, and Abu Dhabi Art will operate daily from 3pm to 10pm.

鈥淎bu Dhabi Art is part of a larger programme designed to continue Abu Dhabi鈥檚 efforts in enriching cultural life for Emiratis, UAE residents and for our millions of visitors, who are coming to expect something distinctive and compelling in Abu Dhabi,鈥 stated His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of TDIC and ADACH. 鈥淎s Abu Dhabi Art continues to grow in its second year, as the museums on Saadiyat Island begin to take shape, and as the cultural life in the Emirate blooms, we are fulfilling our vision for transforming Abu Dhabi into a global crossroads for arts and culture.鈥
