This year, Art Dubai (17-20 March) will host its strongest programme of collateral
events to date. It will include the
Global Art Forum, the unveiling of the Abraaj Capital Art Prize,
special projects curated by Bidoun Projects and the exhibition
The Poetry of Time presented by Van Cleef & Arpels. Art Dubai, which
welcomes over 70 galleries from 30 countries, has become the essential gathering
place for art professionals, collectors and artists from across the Middle East,
South Asia and beyond, setting the business of art within a context that is intelligent,
stimulating and relevant. Art Dubai 2010 will also debut single artist-focused stands
highlighting current and future masters providing both established and novice collectors
a broader and deeper understanding of how an artist脝s work has progressed.
