Art 脡lys茅es 2010

21 Oct, 2010 - 25 Oct, 2010
This modern and contemporary Art Fair is an opportunity to discover a select number of unusual and stunning works loaned by established and rising art galleries alike.

For its 4th edition Art Elys茅es will partake 鈥 as it has every year since its inception in 2006 鈥 in modern and contemporary art鈥檚 rendezvous set to take place from 21 October to 25 October 2010. The fair will be showcasing works exhibited inside the two pavilions that have once again been erected for the occasion along one side of the Champs-Elys茅es from the Petit Palais to the place de la Concorde.

This young fair chooses to display art on a human scale (3500 square meters) and has established itself as a go-to event 鈥 so much so that this year it will last one day longer than in previous years. Most distinctive of all its features are its cutting-edge and discriminating nature : cutting-edge because of the unique nature of the space in which eclectic galleries will be unveiling their collections of paintings sculptures and photographs ; discriminating because the artists whose works are shown are carefully selected by an artistic committee presided over by Baudoin Lebon who sees to the quality appeal and authenticity of the works exhibited.

All in all some 70  galleries 鈥 both French and international 鈥 will be present in the symbolic and prestigious setting of the Champs-Elys茅es, combining both established galleries and the most promising of the rising stars among the newer ones.

Art Elys茅es, a member of the Champs-Elys茅es Committee, seeks to provide a stage for both exhibitions and sales, for art professionals, collectors and enlightened amateurs alike.
