In this sixth edition 60 galleries will participate, chosen by a External Selection Committee among the most prestigious national and international scene, and will showcase works of major contemporary Spanish artists. Among the Spanish, the presence of new galleries, such as Joan Guaita or Saro Leon, Fernando Latorre, Joan Gaspar and Sicart, among others.

Art Madrid includes the third year running the Young Art Program, dedicated to young galleries and emerging artists, in 13 different spaces.

For the first time in the Program Art Show, Art Madrid will present eight art installations, proposed by the participating galleries and selected by Asunta Rodriguez, director of the gallery Trinta and Chair of the Selection Committee of the Fair.

Art Madrid this year presents a group exhibition about the vinyl record, organized by Tardor Art . This is an initiative of the four associations of Catalonian galleries and includes a selection of 35 pieces.

The Art Galleries Association of Castilla-La Mancha also will be present at the fair with its own stand.

In the interest of promoting the collecting, Art Madrid 2011 has developed a special program for contemporary art collectors.

Art Madrid will be held from 16 to 20 February 2011 in the Pabell贸n de Cristal de la Casa de Campo de Madrid, with a total of 89 exhibition spaces between galleries, foundations, associations and journals.

Day 15th will be devoted to professional collectors and presentation to the media, and from 16th to 20th, will open its doors to the public.
