In what will be his seventh bid quotation and consolidated within the contemporary art scene, Art Madrid 2012 will open its doors on February 16 to Sunday 19. The Glass Pavilion of the Casa de Campo will host the 58 participating galleries divided by the overall program, the Young Art, and Art Project and One New Edition. A total of 77 exhibition spaces spread over 8,000 m2.

Art Madrid 2012, is committed to the gallery and the artist, and art fair featuring more national presence. Thirty-six have been selected galleries within the overall program represents the avant-garde, modern art and contemporary art: Art & Science ACGALLERY, Alba Cabrera, Ansorena, Art Lounge, Artetrece, BAT Alberto Cornejo, Benlliure, cordeiros, A . Cortina, Swan, Del Palau, spiral, Print, Fernan-Gomez, Arrow, Gabriel Vanrell, Galleri MDA, Hispanic, Joan Gaspar, Joan Oliver "Maneu" Alcolea Jorge, Juan Gris / Hopscotch, Lorenart, Marita Segovia, Mikel Armendia , Pashmin Art Gallery, pillars, Home Art, Point, Rodrigo Juarranz, Sala Par茅s, Schmalfuss, Berlin, September espai d'art, Vali30, Victor I Fills and Xanon.

In a bid to promote and consolidate within the young art fair this year continues the space program Young Art galleries formed by less than five years with works by young artists, galleries and more than five years presenting the work of a single artist under 40, whose works have been done in the past two years. Young Art is represented by 10 galleries: 100 Kubik, 3 Punts, ART next, Carolina Red, Collage Havana, THE QUATRE, Fernando Latorre, Art Moret, Lope 6mas1 and Victor.

This new year has added two new initiatives that come to revitalize the Fair. Project One turns to put the emphasis on young artists in new and radical as well as the presence of new media and unconventional media. This program complements curated Art Madrid's bid consists of galleries participating in a specific project of an artist under 45, arranged in booths of 10 m2 and a separate space within the Glass Pavilion. Make this program the following galleries: 100Kubik, 3 Punts, 6mas1, Astarte, Edurne, corner, Stamp, Elizabeth Ignacio, Material, Metro, Home Art, King Ra, Hopscotch, Rina Bouwen, Trentatres and Twin Studio & Gallery.
