Art Southampton, presented by Art Miami, is the premier international contemporary and modern art fair taking place at the peak of the social and cultural season in the Hamptons, July 24 through 28, 2014. The fair features a carefully selected group of more than 90 international art galleries with a strong focus on works from the 20th and 21st centuries.
The opening VIP Preview for Art Southampton 2013 on July 25, benefiting the Southampton Hospital, provided the perfect backdrop as a kickoff event for the summer's most important art event in the Hamptons. More than 4,200 collectors, art advisors, curators, designers and hospital supporters arrived throughout the evening. GRAFF Diamonds and Maserati North America displayed the finest in jeweled and automotive luxury, while Perrier-Jou毛t kept the champagne flowing as guests dined on hors d'oeuvres from the Southampton Social Club. The overall fair attracted 16,300 visitors.
The 100,000-square-foot Art Southampton pavilion offers amenities for all guests and an elegant ambiance and airy design that are unrivaled by any other art fair in the Hamptons. The 2013 edition showcased a sculpture garden by LaGuardia Design, an elegant VIP lounge and a cafe catered by the neighboring Southampton Social Club.
Each year, the fair is located on the sprawling 18-acre estate property behind the Southampton Elks Lodge and adjacent to the Southampton Golf Club, directly off of Route 27 A. The proximity of the Art Southampton pavilion provides convenient access for residents and collectors on Long Island, the greater New York region and the Tri-State area who visit the Hamptons frequently during the summer. Ample on-site parking and valet service are available.
