ArtHamptons 2011

08 Jul, 2011 - 10 Jul, 2011
Now in its 4th successful year, ArtHamptons has emerged as the nation’s premier summer fine art fair for post-war and contemporary art. Last year, over 8,000 art enthusiasts, a show record, streamed through aisles. This summer, the fair has the full promotional support of and is partnering with many of the area's leading cultural organizations such as the Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall, Longhouse Reserve, Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, Bay Street Theater, the Hamptons International Film Festival, the Children's Museum of the East End, the Ross School, the Jewish Center of the Hamptons and the Southampton Fresh Air Fund. Over 10,000 art lovers are expected to attend.

The number of galleries this summer will be reduced to 60, from 90 last year. This will help provide for a more comprehensive and manageable art viewing experience. International in scope, the fair will showcase renowned art dealers from more than 10 countries, including the UK (10 dealers), Spain, Germany, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Israel, Russia, Japan, China and Korea. Our Selection Committee has endeavored to select only those galleries with compelling art programs, excellent reputations and those that exhibit the utmost in integrity.

View the art in a new and improved 50,000 square foot modular museum on 5 bucolic acres. Walk through our impressive sculpture garden and enter the building through a spectacular glass lobby. Fully air-conditioned with reinforced and carpeted floors, each year this striking museum in a field becomes the largest modular structure ever to be constructed on the East End of Long Island.
