The BERLINER LISTE 2009 runs parallel to the ART FORUM BERLIN from September 23rd to September 27th, 2009.
NEW LOCATION This year the BERLINER LISTE 2009 takes place in a very exciting and unconventional location for the presentation of art: The PALAIS AM TIERGARTEN. The Palais am Tiergarten is a new very central building located next to the NATIONAL GALLERY and vis a vis the Grand Hotel Esplanade. It is accessible by foot from the POTSDAMER PLATZ and from the ABC fair in Kreuzberg. It is easy to the ART FORUM with public transportation.
PROFILE In the sixth year of existence BERLINER LISTE looks back on its biggest success in 2008. Around 15,000 international curators, collectors and art enthusiasts including 450 accredited journalists came to the LISTE. 74 galleries exhibited their art on an area of more than 4000m2. This makes the BERLINER LISTE Berlin's second largest art fair after ART FORUM BERLIN. Recognised by the press and the public, it has now become firmly established in the international art scene as an innovative fair of discovery. In addition to contemporary art, the 2008 LISTE had been expanded to include the categories of photography and art since 1960. Especially the new photography section was a resounding success. For the first time, 10 galleries exhibited photography only and were able to welcome numerous photograph collectors to the BERLINER LISTE 2008. In 2009 we will further expand the photography section and promote networking between galleries at the whole fair.
