Led by Margarita Pushkina and Sandra Nedvetskaia the new edition of
Cosmoscow, the only international contemporary art fair in Russia, will take place in Gostiny Dvor on 11-13 September 2015. Gostiny Dvor (Merchant Court) is one of the most historically significant architectural monuments of Moscow designed by Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi according to the ruling of Catherine the Great from 1786. The visual identity of Cosmoscow ’15, will be created by young
Russian artist Alexandra Paperno, whose works are housed in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, the V-A-C Foundation and important private collections. As a part of Artist Patron Programme launched in 2014, special projects will be created by
Taus Makhacheva (the winner of V-A-C Foundation and M KHA programme), Evgeny Granilshchikov, Andrei
Kuzkin and
Urban Fauna Lab supported by patrons Ekaterina Vinokurova, Anastasia Karneeva, Valeria Rodnyanskaya, Matthew Stephenson, Margarita Pushkina and Sandra Nedvetskaia. The Advisory Board is to include top international collectors and art professionals such as
Antoine Arnault, Natalia Vodianova, Dilyara Allakhverdova, Olga Vashchilina and Teresa Mavica. Birte Kleemann, the director of Michael Werner Gallery (New York) will join the Expert Committee of the Fair.
