Public Hours of Admission: December 3-6, 2008 11:00 a.m. 鈥� 7:00 p.m. Design Miami/ 2008 will take place this December in the Miami Design District. The show's program will be announced soon, including the winner of the Designer of the Year Award. Venue + Exhibition Miami Design District Palm Court & 39th St. The Miami Design District is the first neighborhood in the United States dedicated to showcasing international design. An urban community driven by creative innovation, the Design District is anchored by major furniture design showrooms, and fashion retail. The 18 block area features unique stores, galleries, restaurants, cafes, artist and architect studios, and residential lofts in historic 1920s and 1930s buildings.
