Eurantica Brussels joins the front rank of great international gatherings

Eurantica Brussels applies meticulous discrimination in selecting the 120 leading antiques dealers and art galleries of Belgium, Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy who are to exhibit at the Brussels Expo Hall 1. These exhibitors will be showing a broad range of the principal genres and styles of collectables: furniture, paintings, sculptures, tapestries, glassware, icons, silver, jewellery, bronzes, textiles, clocks, ancient weapons, engravings, coins and notes, tools and instruments, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, ethnography, archeology, Oriental art, porcelain and ceramics, primitive art, Pre-Columbian art, etc.

Theme: Young talent

In 2013, the fair is highlighting young talent. To ensure the quality and authenticity of the pieces gathered together for this edition, two young experts will be joining the current committee to widen the team and its field of expertise.
In particular, the fair is also giving pride of place to young antique dealers who are entering the profession with passion and conviction.
In regard to the works exhibited, the focus is on the early career of artists, cabinetmakers and other designers represented at the fair and on their early works. These promising works often being the most highly sought after by collectors, such as masterpieces by skilled craftsmen or painters鈥 first paintings. Eurantica Fine Art Fair has always been acknowledged as the 鈥渟pringboard鈥 fair, which has launched most major Belgian antique dealers. The quality / participation cost ratio and quality of the people invited by the organiser Artexis and each antique dealer participating, are a guarantee of success, in a rapidly changing economic environment.

New layout

This year, Eurantica Fine Art Fair is breaking new ground with a new layout of stands arranged as little islands and forming piazzas. This new layout enables a better collaboration between antique dealers, some of whom participate in the fair by speciality (a ceramic section grouped around a piazza of major participants) or in association. The antique dealers, for whom participation in fairs takes priority over their gallery business, need innovative and dynamic formulas to make the most of their participation in the fair, in terms of diversity of supply, presentation quality and visibility. So, Artexis is offering them a well-honed tool with the aim of reinforcing these synergies.

3 styles: Classic Antiques, XXth Century and Extra European Art & Archeology

The distinguishing features of this fair are its international horizons, its diversity and the authenticity of the articles on display. Eurantica Brussels presents three different styles of antiques dealers and art galleries: Classic Antiques, XXth Century and Extra European Art & Archeology, which strengthen the eclecticism, one of the fair鈥檚 strengths.

Prestigious surroundings

The antiques dealers and gallery owners exhibiting at the fair are required to make a special effort to display their pieces to best advantage, whether classic or contemporary. The prestigious surroundings provided by the stands reflect the finest of current trends in architecture and interior decoration.
