Los Angeles IFPDA Fine Print Fair 2011
Exhibitors in the Fine Print Fair are all members of the International Fine Print Dealers Association, a non-profit organization of art dealers, galleries and publishers in the field of fine prints who are committed to the highest standards of quality, ethics, and connoisseurship, and to promoting a greater appreciation of fine prints among collectors and the public.
Elements of the FINE PRINT FAIR will include:
A series of printmaking demonstrations by artist members of Los Angeles Printmaking Society. Featured methods - intaglio (etching), screen printing, woodcut (relief), monoprint, and a small lithograph stone printing.
A panel discussion "Committed to Print: Collecting Prints Today" sponsored by LACMA's Prints and Drawings Council.
Screening of the award winning film, "Four Stones for Kanemitsu."
