MadridFoto 2011
The fair will take place from May 5th to 8th, 2011, inclusive. Due to the success of its previous editions, MADRIDFOTO will be located again at the Feria de Madrid (Ifema), in the Pavilion 1, the most important in terms of size (4000 sq). The infrastructure of the Feria de Madrid insures a greater comfort for the visitors and exhibitors. This year again, the space will be designed by Andr茅s Jaque, a famous architect in Madrid. The main objectives will be to focus on the artwork exhibited by the various galleries as well as to make it a comfortable experience for the guests.
Stands, corridors, lounge and VIP areas will all be in tune to give the guests the utmost sense of care. MADRIDFOTO is aimed at the new photography collectors. The program will include a series of activities with the objective to maximize photography as an art and its expansion on the markets.
MADRIDFOTO鈥檚 last edition was an acclaimed success, with over 15鈥000 visitors. 25 foreign galleries participated (USA, UK, Portugal, Italy, Luxemburg, France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Canada and Mexico) as well as 42 nationals.
Following the success of its previous program, MADRIDFOTO 2011 will organize this year again conferences and gatherings, to which will participate curators, institutions, gallerists and photographers.
