PREVIEW BERLIN presentes itself in its eighth edition this year in its proven format: international galleries and project spaces show their most promising emerging positions.
For 2012 is intended to create a forum which established galleries can also be affiliated to and can present their young positions.
An independent jury will be set up for the purpose of enhancement and adaptation to art market requirements. Its members consist of innovative players from the art world, excluding gallery owners. The jury examines the most convincing artistic positions and decides who will be given access to the art fair. In this way, confidence in Berlin as a global art location is restored. It is hoped that the art fair will be able to illustrate even more accurately what makes Berlin鈥檚 art landscape so unique, from an international perspective. At the same time, the intention is to show up-to-the-moment international art trends to a wider public.
