Red Dot Fair is pleased to announce its debut Basel edition to be held from the 16th to the 20th of June 2010 at the Volkshaus, Claraplatz, Basel: a 铿乿e minute walk from Art Basel. The fair will open with a preview on the evening of the 15th. Red Dot Basel looks forward to sharing the Volkshaus venue with Print Basel and the two fairs will host approximately 50 galleries at this wonderful space.
Red Dot will bring to Basel the all-booth boutique fair format it has successfully developed over the past 铿乿e years in Miami and New York, featuring international modern and contemporary art galleries specialising in emerging, mid-career and established artists selected to provide collectors with a broad range of works for sale, especially painting, sculpture, photography and top quality editions. The fair will include a special guest country section focused on England with an emphasis on spaces located outside the British capital.
