SP-Arte 2010
From April 29 till May 2, the Biennial Pavilion will be transformed once again into the biggest meeting point of arts in Latin America with the participation of 70 galleries among the most important Brazilian galleries as well as from invited countries, such as Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, United States, England, France and Spain, which guarantees a rich experience with contemporary art and the remarkable quality of over 1500 art works from established artists and young talents.
Created in 2005, SP Arte has brought to São Paulo city – financial center of Latin America the lively and exciting atmosphere of the great international art fairs and has established its name on the national and international calendar as one of the most prestigious and awaited art events in Latin America, thanks to the professionalism of all involved in its production, galleries, cultural institutions and museums dedicated to the reflection, collection, exhibition, creation and promotion of art.
SP Arte 2010 cultural program will take place in the Lina Bo Bardi Auditorium of MAM - Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo-, on May 29 and 30 and april 1st, where a debate panel will be held in order to discuss and reflect about art – its creation process, production, exhibition and commercialization. Professionals of international recognition and curators will take part on several conversations.
Along with Maco, in Mexico and Arte Ba, in Argentina, SP-Arte distinguishes itself for the excelence of the participating galleries and the quality of the Brazilian contemporary production.
