Sydney Contemporary, Australasia鈥檚 international art fair, returns in 2015 from 10-13 September (Opening Night 10 September) with Australia鈥檚 largest and most diverse gathering of Australian and international galleries.
Housed at Carriageworks, Sydney鈥檚 striking contemporary arts precinct, the Fair presents over 90 galleries from 13 countries, offering visitors access to cutting-edge art from some of the world鈥檚 most respected artists as well as the opportunity to discover the next generation of emerging talent.
Alongside the galleries are curated sectors for contemporary video, installation art and performance as well as a dynamic and talks and tours program presented by industry leaders. The Fair is also home to a pop-up restaurant by Sydney鈥檚 much-loved dining institutions, Longrain and The Subcontinental.
Sydney Contemporary boasts five days of public programs, appealing to the experienced, the novice, the discerning art enthusiast and those simply curious about buying and living with art. Programming includes guided tours, educational workshops, kids activities, guest speakers and an extensive VIP Program.
