Richard Kalina at Lennon, Weinberg, Inc. In each of his ten exhibitions at the gallery since 1993, Richard Kalina’s boundless curiosity has produced something new in the work. Twenty years ago, he was working with biomorphic forms in transparent pigments over a collage of photocopied newsprint. In addition to referencing nature, all three artists share a common bond in their methodologies. O’Kennedy’s videos record the serendipitous traces of his subject; just as Toia and Nettles Powers record traces of mushroom spores and Spanish moss.
