Salon International

SAN ANTONIO 路 Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art presents its much-anticipated annual spring show - Salon International, a juried exhibition featuring 400 original works of art by traditional oil painters. "This is our biggest show ever," says gallery co-owner Jim Janes. "Artists realize the show is becoming more and more prestigious. We not only received the largest number of submissions ever, but a larger percentage of entries was of a very high level of sophistication." Among the 280 participating artists are Jeff Legg, Stephen Pan, Darcie Peet, William Schneider, Jove Wang, Jill Soukup, and Trent Gudmundsen. The show begins on Saturday, April 10. Determining the winners of nearly $30,000 in awards is this year's judge, renowned portraitist Everett Raymond Kinstler. For more information: 210.828.6491 or www.greenhousegallery.com.
