“Carol Rama: Antibodies” is the first New York museum survey of the work of Italian artist Carol Rama (b. 1918, Turin, Italy–d. 2015, Turin, Italy) and the largest presentation of her work in the US to date. While Rama has been largely overlooked in contemporary art discourses, her work has proven prescient and influential for many artists working today, attaining cult status and attracting renewed interest in recent years. Tiger Strikes Asteroid is proud to present Body High: new sculptures, paintings, and drawings by Rema Ghuloum, John Mills, and Nick Wilkinson.  This will be TSA LA’s first official exhibition in their new space in the Bendix Building. If we zoom out and think about speech in a very simplistic way, our physiological responses to it seem to function as a kind of neurological palindrome: react/receive/react. De Chirico’s first large-scale exhibition in Russia is a joint project of the Tretyakov Gallery and the Fondazione Giorgio e Isa de Chirico. Giorgio de Chirico (1888—1978) was a famous Italian painter, one of the most important Avant-Garde masters of the 20th century, a forerunner of Surrealism, the founder of metaphysic painting as an art movement.
