All Things Considered

13 Jun, 2025 - 18 Jun, 2025

Humans and nature and all things in between. This exhibition is a collaboration of 41 Falmouth University, Marine and Natural History photographers, who have co-curated it as their degree show. All Things Considered is a concept that contextualises the different artists' approaches towards reimagining a regenerative future. Through mixed media, it explores themes about what it is to live amongst such times of environmental crises, social ineptitude and uncertainty in the natural world.

Exhibitors cover contemporary topics ranging from the morality of the exotic pet trade, to the underwater biodiversity of the Cornish coastline. With an underpinning message of how we can interweave our existence with the environment, this show offers insights into the various bridges that explore the disconnection between humans and the planet.

The variety of work depicts the sheer volume of environmental issues we are faced with today and what certain individuals, given all things considered, are doing about it. It demonstrates the fragility of our ecosystems by highlighting the solidarity of young creatives devoted to protecting a future for humans and non-humans alike. This collection is a means by which these artists are launching new and innovative work into the world, and for many of them it is their debut show.
