The Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media is honored to announce this years, Artist of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year award winners, Dee Briggs and Saige Baxter. The Artist of the Year exhibit will include aspects of the most recent projects by Dee Briggs that reflect her commitment to her community of Wilkinsburg, her public art work, as well as her smaller gallery sized sculptures from the last three years. For the Emerging Artist of the Year, the show will include new interactive sculptural work by Saige Baxter, whose previous work is usually set in the public sphere, as this will be her first solo gallery exhibition.
