Body, Body brings together the
work of Maeve Jackson,
Carter Voras, and Alan A.
Peralta to examine the body not as a fixed form, but as a shifting site of interaction and memory. Across these artists鈥 practices, the body emerges as both presence and question, something we inhabit, but also something we confront.
In this exhibition, bodies encounter one another. They merge, conflict, protect, perform, and retreat. Through sculpture, image, drawing, and painting. Body, Body asks: What happens when the body is pushed into confrontation, whether with another body, with a figure, or with itself?
Together, these works explore embodiment in a time of instability. Body, Body is a call to reconsider what a body is, what it holds, and how it moves through the world.
