Caitlin Ezell Waugh鈥檚 solo exhibition Besom is a selection of kiln-formed glass brooms. These new works consider brooms as vessels and examine their capacity for containment, release, and becoming. The radically delicate forms dissolve distinctions between broom and book and they provide evidence that our breath, sound, movement, bodies, are besoms. Tools for tending, these prayer-objects were created to indulge the sacred in the mundane.
