We are very pleased to introduce Calum McClure's work to the gallery with a series of oil paintings and monotypes that the capture close and poetic observations of places McClure has travelled to and through - Athens at night, a park in the dark, groves of trees, ivy and light. Paint and composition, in McClure's hands, are vehicles that take us to these recalled moments and a little beyond them too, into an abstraction reminiscent of a dream.
