Hit The Ground - The Great North Run Cultural Show

A group show on the theme of running, featuring the new Great North Run Moving Image Commission by Vicki Bennett, interactive digital art work by NAME and Culture Lab, and an installation of maps and posters by Amy Feneck and Laura Mansfield, presented alongside film and video pieces by Roderick Buchanan and susan pui san lok. The exhibition delves into the runners' worlds, drawing on their experiences of training, examining at their re-mapping and navigation of the North East, and featuring edited archive footage of the Bupa Great North Run and the Olympics.
