End of the year group exhibitions are difficult to curate and mostly result in some incoherence. Aimed at introducing new work from the international circuit in addition to showing selected works from our inventory.
Work by international and local artists Damien Hirst (9/500), Marlene Dumas (78/500), Takashi Murakami (8/500), Banksy,(90/500) William Kentridge(96/500;17/100), Ai Weiwei(131/500), Norman Catherine(20/100), Jeff Koons(3/500) are included with their interesting ranking on Artprice 500 and Citadel top100 indicated in brackets. These indexes reflect how the artists relate according to volumes of their work traded. Careful thought has also gone into placing works in the exhibition to reveal further relationships and connections.
The Gallery is also pleased to announce the introduction of Dale Lawrence to collectors. Recently graduated from Michaelis Art School, his current works are ink drawings of animals from their dictionary descriptions, drawn in a style inspired by natural history illustrations.
After the huge interest in Mr. Brainwash during 34FineArt鈥檚 Urban Street Show earlier in November, 34FineArt will present some of his new works.
If you are searching for that very special piece of art that might also gain value on your wall, do not miss this opportunity.
