Marlborough Fine Art is pleased to present a solo-exhibition of new works by American painter, Stephen Hannock. The Oxbow, from Thomas Cole to Alfred Hitchcock, an聽exhibition of new landscape paintings, influenced by the Hudson River School. Hannock鈥檚 approach to painting is unique among contemporary artists working today and involves layering acrylic or oil paint onto the canvas and applying veneers of resin which allows light to reflect off the canvas. The pictures are covered with handwritten text鈥攊mbuing the image with personal and local histories relating to the sites depicted.
