Gladstone Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Sharon Lockhart. This will be the artist鈥檚 fifth solo exhibition with the gallery. Lockhart is known for creating photographs and films that mine the formal terrain of her chosen mediums, while forming work that is deeply insightful towards the communities she engages. In an ongoing project, Lockhart focuses on a young woman named Milena, whom the artist met in Poland while producing her 2009 film, Podw贸rka. read more...

Ever faithful to its desire to spotlight the emerging scene in extramural shows, Palais de Tokyo has joined with the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore to present the show Sous la lune/ Beneath the moon, under the aegis of the 鈥淓merging Talents in Emerging Countries鈥 programme, which it initiated with the Total Corporate Foundation. Sous la lune/ Beneath the moon will create a dialogue between emerging South-East Asian artists and young French artists, through both new productions and existing works, with a view to favouring exchanges about the personal creative processes of each artist in the show, while also transcending the peculiarities of their original cultural environment. read more...
