Norma Howard won the Grand Award for her painting GATHERING RIVER CRANES at the 33rd annual Trail of Tears show in Tahlequah, OK, in May. America Meredith won first place for painting; Troy Anderson for sculpture; Jane Osti, pottery; Maxine Stick, baskets; and Gwen Coleman-Lester, graphics. Jon Mark Tiger earned two first-place honors in the miniatures and Trail of Tears theme categories.
