Mexican-born Yoshua Okón鈥檚 incredible two channel video installation, "Latex", casts an amateur horror theater group out of Mexico City to illustrate the artist鈥檚 feelings on the 2012 presidential election in Mexico. Rooted in using violence as a political tool, the film follows two theater performances that use threats and fear to symbolize the election, encouraging viewers to evaluate their reactions to the aggressors in the troupe, while evoking feelings of the political climate in Mexico.
