[RE]Configured: Contemporary Figurative Art
Figurative artists Thomas Allen, Phoebe Boddy and Zara Matthews will show a selection of their most recent work in the North Gallery, Mall Galleries in July 2022. Through their three different styles and approach the visitor will be able to enjoy the breadth of figurative painting in Britain today. The exhibition will run concurrently with Winners, an exhibition of award-winning figurative artists from Federation of British Artists鈥� exhibitions in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Allen, Boddy and Matthews were awarded the top prize at Figurative Art Now in the summer of 2021. Figurative Art Now was an online exhibition which featured almost 400 selected works exploring the breadth of representational painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking in the UK today.
