"Spheres": 5 energies in a new kind of exhibitions experience

Stemming from the wish to develop a shared and unifying exhibition concept, the Spheres project involves the participation of several contemporary art galleries of international dimensions, who have joined forces at Le Moulin, an old industrial factory complex situated near a river in the Paris region. The galleries, prompted by the desire to pool their energies in a new kind of exhibitions experience, each present artists whose works will be installed in and will relate to various parts of the complex. In doing so they will engage with the rich history of the site. Atelier van Lieshout, Tony Cragg, Martin Creed, Leandro Erlich, Yona Friedman, Subodh Gupta, Fabrice Gygi, Thomas Hirschhorn, Claude Leveque, Jean-Luc Moulene, Luca Pancrazzi, Werner Reiterer, Zineb Sedira, Shen Yuan, Djamel Tatah, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Mark Wallinger Long-term projects: Daniel Buren, Loris Cecchini, Chen Zhen, Kendell Geers, Mona Hatoum, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Nedko Solakov The exhibition will be open from October 26th 2008 until May 31st 2009 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 midday to 6 pm, closed on the weekend 26-28/12/2008 and 2-4/01/2008.
