2022 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition
The Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition is an annual celebration of the strongest creative voices emerging from South Australia’s contemporary art scene.
Twenty-seven visual artists from Flinders University and the University of South Australia will showcase their graduate works at this prominent arts event hosted once again at ACE Open.
Art lovers are invited to take in the eclectic and bold collection of works from Thursday 17 February until Saturday 19 March 2022. A range of disciplines will be on display at the event, including ceramics, painting, jewellery, photography, printmaking, video, installation, sonic art, sculpture, fashion and performance art.
Exhibiting artists will be eligible for 18 awards valued at over $71,000, to be presented on the opening night of the exhibition. The Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition remains one of the most significant opportunities for emerging creatives in the country.
This event has a long-standing history of providing a launch pad for the next generation of South Australian creatives, while also providing a snapshot of the future of contemporary art in our state. Prepare to be moved by the drive and passion of the artists on display.
