This exhibition is not a review of 181 years of the association鈥檚 history, but a survey of the current work of VdDK members. It shows their current work and looks towards future artistic work. Positions from all artistic genres are presented: Painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography, and media art.
The association was founded for 鈥渕utual help and support鈥�. Solidarity, cooperation, and DIY have always driven the artists. As one of the oldest artists鈥� associations in Germany, the VdDK has a rich tradition that has a deep impact on D眉sseldorf鈥檚 urban society. The association currently has 276 members.
