The Artful Partners Exhibition indicates how art can in a meaningful way mold relationships, reflecting as such, internal sentiments or innermost thoughts that ordinary human interaction, in all its’ forms, is unable to express or even comprehend.

The Artful Partners show contains artworks, in varying art media, painting, sculpture, installations or photography, created by several international artist couples, that live and sometimes at times work together. Thereby, in this theme we delve into an artistic microcosm of countless relations, memories and dreams. This world is where the art couple intercommunicates, while at times manifesting the reminiscent passages of their life relationships into works of art or maintain them in the realm of ideas.  In this way, they allow us to better understand the subliminal elements that form the emotional foundations of a sentimental bond between two creative individuals.

First and foremost, the Artful Partners exhibition emphasizes the vital importance of mutual communication between people, something that, if stretched out, from the inside locus of a relationship, to the outside field of the macrocosm and the contemporary world, is beyond doubt necessary. To borrow a term from botany, this cross pollination works to transfer ideas from one area or medium to another resulting in new and innovative forms. These novel possibilities are responses, nurtured within the couple’s environment that demonstrate the interplay between individuals at times across disciplines based on critical interconnection and close observation.
