Andrea Meislin Gallery is proud to announce 鈥渂ene鈥鈥ction鈥� a benefit exhibition to support the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.
Curated by Nicolla Trezzi, 鈥渂ene鈥鈥ction鈥� aims to bring together two positions. The first is to do good [bene], which, in this case, means to raise funds for the MFA program at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. The second is to act [action] simultaneously on a personal and institutional level in order to create a benefit exhibition. The exhibition showcases work by fifteen internationally acclaimed artists, who are connected either to the head of the program, the program itself, or to the Friends of Bezalel in New York. The diverse practices and inquiries brought together in this show can be viewed as parallel undertakings to the educational philosophy and to artistic endeavors that are at the heart of the MFA program.
