Sotheby鈥檚 is pleased to present a selling exhibition featuring mid-century Canadian abstract art on view in Sotheby鈥檚 New York headquarters. The intention of the exhibition is to showcase the best examples of works by members of the Automatistes, Painters 11, the Plasticiens and their contemporaries 鈥� Canadian art movements that are well-known to collectors internationally. There has not been an exhibition like this outside of Canada in decades and we have seen that the international market has a strong appetite for important works of this period. The exhibition will be supported by Sotheby鈥檚 senior staff members in both New York and Toronto.
