Ciara Nash: My One With Nature
Ciara "Cee" Nash was born in San Diego, Ca, and quickly moved to the Midwest, settling in Madison, WI, where she discovered her artistic abilities. In August of 2022, Ciara completed her MBA in Art and design through the Maryland Institute College of Art and Design (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland. She is currently earning her master's of art therapy through Edgewood College of Madison, WI, where she majored in art therapy and minored in graphic design as an undergrad. In addition, she currently works in childcare through one of Madison's oldest independent childcare programs.
In the past few years, Ciara has managed to grace the city of Madison, WI, with murals during the George Floyd protest, local art events for all ages, and promoting kindness, community, and hope through the COVID Poster project with the Wisconsin Historical Society. In addition, she has shared her work through a mural for Monroe, WI. representing racial injustice in the country through St. Johns United Church of Christ. Finally, this past summer, she worked with the Bubbler and Hawthorne Library of Madison, WI, hosting art workshops in the Worthington Park neighborhood through community events and the library.
