Chasing Rainbows is a new series of plein - air paintings by Colin Halliday, celebrating nature and the intimate landscapes and places that we can all relate to.
Halliday continues to work directly from nature, outdoors, using a 鈥榳et-on-wet鈥� technique. However, he has reincorporated paintbrushes back into his work, alongside the use of a palette knife, and extended his colour palette, creating greater contrast and complexity to the surface texture.
