Crama Opri葯or x MNAC Bucharest Awards for Contemporary Drawing
Now in its third edition, the 鈥淐rama Opri葯or Awards for Contemporary Drawing鈥� competition is organised this year together with the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Romania, where the exhibition of the finalists will also be open for the new MNAC 2024 exhibition season.
Dedicated to contemporary drawing and supporting young artists, students and graduates of higher art education institutions in Romania, the concept of the competition was initiated by Ciprian Paleologu in 2015鈥攖he first edition being held in 2016-2017, together with the National University of Arts in Bucharest, on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. The second edition was held in partnership with the University of Art and Design Cluj Napoca, and ran from 2021-2022. A novelty of the 2024 national edition is the Special Audience Award.
