Marion Scott Gallery is pleased to announce Edward Epp: Layered, opening Saturday, October 14. The solo exhibition, Epp鈥檚 first with the gallery in five years, will feature new and recent paintings presented alongside older works, some dating as far back as the 1990s. Many of the recent images are older paintings that have been minimally or extensively reworked, highlighting a fascinating aspect of Epp鈥檚 multifaceted process that has until now received little attention. The presentation will focus mainly on abstract landscapes and views of the British Columbia coast, rendered in Epp鈥檚 rugged impressionism, and will include additional experimental and collaged pieces.
