From his earliest photographic works, dating from the mid-1930s,
Giuseppe Cavalli revealed an extraordinary ability to create intensely poetic compositions with the very simplest of means: constellations of everyday domestic objects, bathed in vivid Mediterranean light. Organised in conjunction with the Giuseppe Cavalli Archive, this exhibition will present works from across the artist’s brief career, which was brought to an abrupt end with his premature death in 1961.
