Starting point of the exhibition is the juxtaposition of visual art and text. This involves more than the purely visual qualities of Scripture in the image or the formation of images in the head by texts. Of interest are rather artistic positions that work with textual structures. The experiment, with seriality, difference and repetition in the broadest sense to develop complex expressions, combines the artistic work of Gesine Grundmann, Michel Kl枚fkorn, Bj枚rn Kuhligk and Rolf Poellet. The resulting structure of positions creates a space in which the terms text and image in mutual reference names are generated.The boundaries between the terms are displaced in favor of a higher-level structure that approaches closer to viable self-questioning strategies. Art remains not only one state, but unfolds over genre and genre boundaries.
