Joshua Moreno: Catch & Release
Joshua Moreno is a California native and Bay Area based artist. He holds a BFA from the University of California San Diego and an MFA from Stanford University. At the time I鈥檓 writing this, he鈥檚 inside our gallery frantically running charcoal along the walls, the floor, and any parts of the ceiling within reach. He鈥檚 tracing the path of the failing winter light as it penetrates our single low slung window, cataloging the way it bounces off of parked cars, windows, signs, as well as the rare direct beam.
We didn鈥檛 really settle on what would happen or how long it would last for. He鈥檚 not committed to any particular timeline or outcome. We didn鈥檛 say if there would be 鈥渙pen hours鈥� or not. But our doors are glass so you should be able to see in.
