The tradition of stained glass dates back over many centuries and reached its peak during the building of the great cathedrals. This technique was also used by
Lermite (1920-1977) from the 1950s onwards. There is now a surge in appreciation for the Le Locle artist鈥檚 works, spread over 14 sites. The exhibition concentrates on windows created in the canton of Neuch芒tel 鈥 this enables us not only to follow the transformation of Lermite鈥檚 landscapes towards more geometric shapes, but also to gain an understanding of his development.
