This exhibit demonstrates how each artist explores the themes of time, line and space throughout their drawings.
Albrecht`s small ink drawings, all measuring 10x10 inches, use repetition, tonal shifts, and short parallel lines to create strong accidental patterns. Hyland`s drawings of urban landscapes and imaginary environments play with the mind through tunnels opening towards walls and stairways without destinations. Rug exhibits five graphite drawings composed of minute marks that grow into structures as they accumulate.
Pollock explores dimensions through creating complex webs, and chooses to enter the atomic (or celestial) realm where discovery and exploration has no means and no end.
