The show is exploring the emotional attachment to objects we see and use every day, as well as the poetry of common domestic spaces. Trompe-l'艙il and a blended surrealist and hyperrealistic approach are both used in sculptures as tools to shift perception and to understand the nature of spaces and objects themselves, as well as their real value. Paintings employ a variety of special effects, including saturated shades of light, hyper-contrast, unusual angles, and uneven composition, in order to convey the very specific emotional state of the characters inhabiting these common spaces.
