Marking the Territory: A Tribute to Roy De Forest

Roy de Forest (1930-2007) was well known for lively paintings populated by playful dogs, boats, and whimsical figures. Teaching at UC Davis from 1965-82, he influenced several generations of regional artists. Paintings and sculpture by artists Arthur Gonzalez, Gerald Heffernon, Lisa Reinertson, Maxine Aaron, Ted Fontaine, Jean Van Keuren, Tony Natsoulas, and Peter VandenBerge, among others, are included in this tribute to Roy de Forest.
