During the summer of 2014, Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts will present 鈥楳id-Century Alchemy鈥� to highlight the influence post-war american design era continues to have on contemporary artists and designers. Experience the UICA鈥檚 main level gallery as a domestic interior, where original objects and art are combined to create a new interpretation of the Mid-Century movement through the eyes of contemporary makers. Featuring work by Garrett Brooks, Mark Dineen, Ryan Pieper, Sally England, Anthony Carpenter, Ingrained, and Detroit Wallpaper Company.
